Seller's Notes:
I purchased the M1 in 1985 in stock street trim. It looked to be a good platform to start from. Modifications to the body include: original Pro Car fenders and front nose, nose is reinforced with chromally tubing for safety and structural integrity, inner wheel wells and lower panels are replaced in aluminum to make the car a flat bottom car, Youngblood wheels 10 x 16 front, 12 x 16 rear and running the original Goodyear slicks (readily available), custom made sway bars, 2 inch coilovers, re-valved Bilstein shocks, suspension points altered to facilitate alignment, 5 inch air ducts, cooling cones for the wheels, car has been tested on the skid pad and at several road courses. This car has never been crashed. White paint on original body parts is original paint. Motosports stripes and logos were added, as the orignal 1979 1980 factory Pro Car, in 1985. Flares and nose were painted in 1986 when it was installed and paint is still in excellent condition. Engine modifications include: custom made air cleaner for free breathing, modified exhaust system for low back pressure, cam timing and careful tuning on the Kuglefish mechanical injection. The engine is in perfect mechanical condition with oil changed consistently. MSD ignition unit attributing to greatly increased spark plug life with easy starting and driving. Interior modifications include: seat construction was changed for better lateral hold and lowered for either tall driver or helmet clearance for track days, shortened shifter, 6 point seat belt for driver with unique roller retractors for shoulder harnesses, Halon fire suppression system, custom made electric rear view mirrors.
